Meet the Team
The Management Committee
The committee are a group of volunteers that support the playschool to be the best it can be. All of the members have the best interest of the playschool at heart and bring a wide variety of skills and expertise. All members of the committee have been through a suitability check with Ofsted to fulfil their role. It is the committee's responsibility to ensure that the Playschool follows all of the Statutory frameworks for Early Years care as well as offering the highest standards to our families and children. The committee also oversee the recruitment and well-being of the staff team.
Our Staff Team
All of the staff at Warwick Community Playschool are subject to robust suitability checks inline with safer recruitment policies. All of our staff have relevant experience or are either qualified or working towards Early Years qualifications as well as studying for ongoing professional development. We value experience and quality in practitioners. We have a very strong and experienced Leadership Team that support the ongoing quality of the setting and mentoring of the team.
Bank Staff, Students and Volunteers
We have our own dedicated bank staff team.
We have students on placement from time to time from Northampton College and Tresham College. We welcome students as we like to be able to give back to the profession we love so much.
We welcome volunteers from the community who feel that they have a skill to share with us. This may be teaching us a new language, gardening, cooking, music, visiting with animals...anything that enriches our curriculum or takes the volunteer back to their childhood!
